Suttons Motors has taken over the operations of Iveco Sydney, in a move that's being heralded as an exciting development for both Suttons and Iveco Australia.
Effective September 1, Suttons assumed ownership of Iveco’s largest New South Wales-based dealership and says it is already well progressed in consolidating its operations.
New Sydney Iveco General Manager, Daniel Glynn, said Suttons Motors had identified some huge opportunities in the Iveco brand.
"Suttons Motors saw enormous potential in the Iveco product range," he said.
"With a model range spanning everything from passenger-car-licence vans and light trucks through to road train prime movers, we can offer a transport solution to anybody who walks through the dealership doors.
"We see a very bright future for this dealership and for Iveco as a whole, and we're looking forward to working closely with Iveco Australia and more broadly with CNH Industrial, to take Iveco Sydney to the next level."
Iveco Australia Dealer Channel Director, Geoff Buswell, welcomed Suttons Motors to the dealer network, saying that the group's expertise and high standing within the commercial vehicle market made them an attractive addition to the network.
"Suttons Motors is extremely well regarded within the transport industry and we're delighted to have them on-board," he said.
"Given the group's background it's been a smooth handover and they've been able to hit the ground running, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
"I have every confidence that the Iveco Sydney dealership will go from strength to strength."
The change follows on from quite a degree of movement within the broader Iveco dealer network, with the recent appointment of several Iveco Daily Minibus dealers and the rollout of the International dealer network.
Iveco Sydney is located on the corner of Penelope Crescent and McCormack Street, Arndell Park.
