Kenworth Legend SAR on tour

The Kenworth Legend SAR 50th Anniversary Edition stole plenty of limelight at the PACCAR stand at the 2021 Brisbane Truck Show.

The Legend SAR is the third in the brand’s Legend series of special-edition trucks, this time commemorating Kenworth’s 50th anniversary of truck manufacturing in Australia.

As with the other trucks in the Kenworth Legend series, this one is very much a Limited Edition and it will certainly sell fast.

“As per previous Legends, there will be a one-day sale – on July 8 we will open the order book, and the number of sales will determine how many trucks we will produce. We’re very confident this truck is going to be very popular and a great way to commemorate this special year,” said Brad May, Director Sales and Marketing at PACCAR Australia.

During 2021 The Brown and Hurley Group, Kenworth’s biggest dealer network, is celebrating its 75th year in business anniversary through open days at its dealerships and other events, and the company will have a Legend SAR on display.

Throughout the month of June, at selected branches, the Legend SAR and other significant trucks will be on display. So here’s your chance to get a good look.

Kicking it off is Kyogle on June 5, here you will get to see great trucks on display there including two historic trucks, Kenworth’s 70,000th truck produced, as well as the Kenworth Legend SAR.

Following that, the Legend SAR will be on display at Farm Fest Toowoomba from Tuesday June 8 to 10.

After its stint at Farm Fest, the Legend SAR will be appearing at the following Brown and Hurley dealerships:
