King Bars for new Scania trucks

Bull bars designed specifically for Scania’s New Truck Generation range

These new bars are designed specifically for Scania’s New Generation truck range

Australian bull bar manufacturer King Bars has unveiled a range specifically designed for the Scania NTG truck models.'

According to the Queensland company, the new NTG Pacific range has been "developed to offer maximum protection" to Scania vehicles thanks to a "unique mounting system and upgraded aluminium sections to provide more strength."

Available in metro, single road train, or double road train designs, the NTG Scania range caters for all new models and is compatible with adaptive cruise control, King Bars Sales Manager Craig Macpherson says.

For metro bull bar customers, accessing daily fluid checks through the bonnet does not require the bar to be lowered, and for road train bull bar customers, the bars feature raised centre posts for extra protection and a secure place to mount signs.

“The NTG Pacific range was created on the back of a growing business relationship between Scania Australia and King Bars,” Craig Macpherson said.

Another consideration in the design process was to ensure the Pacific bull bar did not protrude too far from the vehicle body. The final design is a compact package that fits snuggly to vehicle to allow operators the flexibility to maximise high productivity PBS requirements with the added protection of a stylish robust bull bar.

"Our business is to provide heavy duty trucks with the best protection possible, and the new Scania NTG range of bull bars certainly meets this requirement," Macpherson says.

"More and more of our customers are opting for cab-over trucks and that is why we are continually developing a range of bull bars that offers superior protection for this style of truck. We see the NTG Pacific range as a product that can potentially save lives and prevent costly repairs to trucks."

The company says the bull bars use the NTG Scania’s tow points for mounting, providing "maximum strength and ultimate protection".
