
Time is running out to nominate young heavy vehicle workshop technicians who would benefit from attending the 2015 PACCAR & Dealer Technical and Maintenance Conference (TMC), which will be held over October 26 to 28 at the Kangan Institute's Automotive Centre of Excellence in Melbourne.
Thanks to the generosity of Cummins South Pacific, three young service technicians will receive full registration and accommodation to attend TMC 2015 for free.
The competition is open to Australian businesses that employs truck service technicians. Nominees must be less than 25 years old as at October 26, 2015, and can be at any stage of their training, from a first-year apprentice to a fully qualified technician.
To enter, describe in 25 words or fewer how your young service technician would benefit from attending TMC 2015. Entries should be submitted to ataevents@truck.net.au, along with your full contact details.
This year's TMC will feature high-level technical sessions, compliance forums and product training workshop sessions, with multiple program streams to help attendees get the training and advice most relevant to their business.
The conference will also host the Castrol Vecton Awards Dinner, which will see the presentation of the 2015 Craig Roseneder Award and the Castrol Vecton Industry Achievement Award.
This will be the fourth year Cummins South Pacific has provided the TMC scholarships.
