Last days to name a top tech

Nominations for the 2015 Craig Roseneder award for workshop excellence close this Monday

Time is running out to nominate a top heavy vehicle technician for the Australian Trucking Association's 2015 Craig Roseneder Award.

The award is sponsored by Castrol Vecton and recognises technical and maintenance excellence. Nominations are open to individuals who work full time as a workshop manager or mechanic in the Australian heavy vehicle industry.

Last year's Craig Roseneder Award went to Glenn Griffiths (pictured), Fleet Maintenance Manager for Ron Finemore Transport.

With the award's emphasis on innovation, mentoring and industry involvement, the Craig Roseneder Award was bestowed upon Mr Griffths for his tireless pursuit of safety in managing and maintaining a fleet of 250 prime movers and 450 trailers.

As well as industry recognition and a trophy, this year's winner will receive a trip to Nashville, USA, to attend the American Trucking Associations’ 2016 Technology and Maintenance Council Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition.

Nominations for the 2015 Craig Roseneder Award close on Monday, September 7.
