LDV has released a new version of its popular G10 Van. Described as a true workhorse, the new manual-transmission G10 features leaf-spring rear suspension and a normally-aspirated 2.4 litre petrol engine that produces 105kW and 210Nm.
LDV has also lowered the price of the five-speed manual G10 to just $25,990 drive away for ABN holders. That makes the manual G10 the cheapest one tonne van on the market by about $10,000, we're told.
The automatic turbo petrol powered G10 sells for $29,990 drive away for ABN holders. Fleet customers can drive an even better deal on both auto and manual LDVs.
"The arrival of the manual G10 Van represents the next phase in our push for volume," said Dinesh Chinnappa, general manager of LDV Australia. "In reality, we have not only undercut our competitors by a country mile, but we also open up significant new sales potential to what might otherwise be the used van market. The volume potential of the G10 at $25,990 is simply huge," he said.
The G10 boasts a 1093kg payload and 5200 litres of cargo space which can accommodate two standard pallets. A large lift rear door and dual side sliding doors make access a breeze.
Standard equipment includes a large LCD touch screen, reversing camera, power steering, Bluetooth, DVD, air-conditioning and power windows.
The G10 also boasts a long list of modern safety features including electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes, airbags, roll movement intervention, parking sensors and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The G10 is backed by a three year/100,000km warranty, supported by LDV’s national dealer network. The G10 is also covered by 24/7 roadside assistance.
