Linfox puts driver health in the spotlight
Major freight and logistics heavyweight Linfox has teamed with LiSTNR to produce a driver-focused health and wellbeing podcastAustralian operator Linfox is taking a proactive approach to improving the health of its drivers, with the company pairing with LiSTNR to create a multi-part podcast that focuses on ways drivers can enhance their physical and mental health.
Titled The Driver’s Seat and presented by comedian Dilruk Jayasinha, the series is said to deliver “relatable and down-to-earth health and wellbeing stories and tips for listeners to live their best lives”.
Directly tackling the issues truck drivers in Australia and New Zealand face daily, the series celebrates “friends, family, and feeling great”, and aims to arm listeners with the tools they need to “take control of life and put yourself in the driver’s seat”.
The podcast will see Jayasinha interview a number of special guests, including former Australian cricketer Brad Hodge and 2Day FM Breakfast announcer Davy ‘Hughesy’ Hughes, along with a range of other public figures and Linfox drivers.

“At Linfox, we are always looking for ways to support the health and wellbeing of our team,” said Linfox Logistics CEO ANZ, Mark Mazurek.
“Given the amount of time they spend on the road, it is not always easy to reach our drivers with traditional communications. With this in mind, we decided to try a new approach and produce a podcast called The Driver’s Seat which brings real, honest conversations about physical and mental wellbeing direct to our teams, no matter where they are in Australia or New Zealand.
“Produced by LiSTNR, our host Dilruk Jayasinha has done a fantastic job at interviewing a stellar guest line-up that we believe will appeal to drivers and the people that support them not just at Linfox but across our industry as a whole.
“We look forward to sharing the podcast with the broader public and hope that it will have a positive impact on anyone wanting to live a healthier, happier life.”
Episode one of The Driver’s Seat is online now and available through LiSTNR and other streaming platforms.
