Manheim unveils quality fleet truck auction

New Industrial Corporate Fleet & Finance auctions to specialise in low-kilometre, ex-fleet trucks

Starting from July 12, Manheim will launch monthly auctions that focus on low-mileage ex-fleet trucks.

Held immediately after the auction house’s regular Manheim Industrial Transport auction, the new Mainheim Industrial Corporate Fleet & Finance auction will focus on late-model and well-maintained asses from corporate fleets, leasing companies and repossessions.

Manheim says the new auction will feature many quality later-model trucks with low mileage and thorough service histories.

“In analysing our go-to-market strategy, the time has come for us to implement some revisions to our calendar of monthly national auctions,” said Manheim Industrial Head of Sales, Adrian Paley.

“First up is our transport category, where our growth has meant the monthly auctions [heavy, light, trailers] are due for an update.

“We’ve put thought into how we go about refining the auctions, including but not limited to consideration of specific asset types, vendor service requirements, asset locations, auction size, marketing methods, our site capabilities and much more.”

The first Industrial Corporate Fleet & Finance auction will run over July 12 to 16 and will feature trucks from Manheim’s key corporate, leasing and rental, and banking clients. Each monthly sale will run over the second week of each month.
