MaxiPARTS has opened a new retail store in Darwin, with the outlet located in the suburb of Winnellie, near Darwin airport.
Under the watchful eye of newly appointed Darwin Branch Manager, Ean Cameron, the store will stock a wide variety of truck and trailer parts, including batteries, filters, lights, lubes, tyres, tools, axles and suspensions, with products spanning a range of major names such as Hendrickson, Meritor, Castrol, Narva, and SP Tools, among others.
MaxiPARTS General Manager, Peter Loimaranta, said the new outlet was a crucial part of the firm's expanding network.
"Darwin has changed significantly over the last few years and we believe it is a critical site for anyone wanting to be a truly national operator," he said.
"Like our Mackay start up last year and our acquisitions on the NSW Central Coast and in Wagga and Dubbo, opening a new store in Darwin further expands our network for ease of customer accessibility. We expect our entry into Darwin will quickly change the local market, with a larger site, larger stock holding and increased service level than has previously been seen."
The new facility is spread over 1300 square metres and is not far from Darwin's port, allowing stock to be replenished rapidly.
The new MaxiPARTS outlet is located at 508 Stuart Highway, Winnellie. For more information call the store direct on (08) 8947 1627 or visit www.maxiparts.com.au.
