MaxiTRANS celebrates Truck Show Awards
CEO presents awards to Ballarat staffAustralia’s largest trailer manufacturer, MaxiTRANS, has celebrated its haul at the 2017 Brisbane Truck Show Awards by holding a presentation to its staff of over 400 at its primary manufacturing facility in Ballarat.
Managing Director and CEO Dean Jenkins said that the awards success could be attributed to the company’s hard working staff in the regional city.
“This is a remarkable achievement and well deserved recognition for everyone on staff. From the team who contributed to building the show trailers, to the engineers, purchasing and operational staff working in the background, everybody has contributed in some way to winning these awards and we should all be very proud,” he said.
Beating an impressive list of other industry leaders, MaxiTRANS was presented with the following awards on night one of Brisbane Truck Show:
>> Best Component, Equipment or Service Innovation – Freighter Hanging Load Restraint Gates
>> Best Trailer – Freighter T-Liner Mark II with Hanging and Sliding Post Load Restraint Gates
>> Best Australian Designed and Engineered Product – Freighter T-Liner Mark II
>> Best Australian Manufactured Innovation – Freighter T-Liner Mark II
A number of MaxiTRANS staff accepted the awards at the ceremony in Ballarat on behalf of their colleagues, in what was a triumphant homecoming for the manufacturer and its prize-winning trailer.
“The recognition from the judges is testament to our innovation program focusing on increasing the operational safety and productivity of our products,” Dean said. “Over the past three years, via a list of product releases and upgrades, including those which won the awards in Brisbane, we truly believe that we have become the leading manufacturer of safe, efficient trailers in Australia and New Zealand.”
