The first experience of its kind to be offered in the Southern Hemisphere, the Snow Drive Experience will allow patrons to drive the full range of Mercedes-Benz trucks in snow, on ice and in a variety of off-road settings in Queenstown, New Zealand.
The General Manager of Mercedes-Benz Truck & Bus, Justin Whitford, said the brand was thrilled to be offering such a unique experience to its customers.
"We are very excited about the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Snow Drive Experience," he said.
"This is another example of us pushing the limits and, like our customers, we are looking forward to descending on Queenstown for next year's event.
"This will be another memorable Mercedes-Benz experience and while being a bucket-list item for a number of our customers, the event will allow us to further address the world-class ability and applications of our range."
The Snow Drive Experience will be just a part of the program of the recently announced Mercedes-Benz Trucks Driving Academy. Headed up by Peter Hackett, Chief Driving Instructor of the passenger-car-focussed Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy, in association with Andrew Assimo, Senior Product & Technical Manager, Mercedes-Benz Trucks, the brand says the new initiative will give guests the opportunity to enjoy "an unparalleled driving and product experience".
More information on the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Driving Academy will be released later this year.
