Monster Jam returns Down Under

The ever-popular Monster Jam stadium spectacular is heading back to Australia, with epic shows slated for both Melbourne and Sydney this October.

The action-packed and family-friendly motorsport extravaganza returns to our shores with a stellar cast of incredible machines, including Grave Digger, El Toro Loco, Iron Man, Black Panther, Thor, and more, with the drivers and vehicles doing battle over a series of Freestyle, Skills and Racing competitions. In all there will be eight skilled drivers facing off for the championship, with their names to be released closer to the events.

Monster Jam drivers are trained world-class athletes who have mastered not only the physical strength and mental stamina needed to compete, but the vital dexterity to control these nearly 5.5-tonne machines capable of doing backflips, vertical wheelies and racing at speeds up to 110km/h to produce the jaw-dropping, live motorsports action adored by fans around the world.

There’s no let-up in the action come half time, either, when crowds will be thrilled by some of the best FMX (Freestyle Motocross) talents in the business.

But the excitement begins ahead of the show proper at the Monster Jam Pit Party, where fans can inspect the massive trucks, meet their favorite drivers and crews, get autographs, and take pictures. This year activities include a Sand Box play area, Spin Master remote control truck course, and a coloring station. The Pit Party is the only place where fans can get up close to the Monster Jam teams and get an insider’s look at how these trucks are built to withstand the rigours of competition.

The action kicks off in Melbourne at AAMI Park on Saturday, October 5, with a Pit Party from 9:00am to 11:30am followed by events at 1:00pm and 7:00pm. Next up it’s Sydney’s turn, when Monster Jam descends on Accor Stadium at Sydney Olympic Park. The Pit Party there will take place from 1:30pm to 4:00pm, with the one main show kicking off at 6:00pm.

Advance tickets will be available to Monster Jam Preferred Customers starting at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 24, at Ticketek, before tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, August 13.
