More Elite Support for Daimler Trucks customers
Customer service initiative spreads offering great benefitsDaimler Trucks' Elite Support network rollout continues with the certification of Daimler Trucks Somerton.
Now that it is an Elite Support dealership, Daimler Truck Somerton’s customers across the Mercedes-Benz, Fuso and Freightliner brands will benefit from a range of improvements.
Chief among them is Express Assessment, which ensures the dealership communicates a preliminary diagnosis on the customer’s truck within two hours of its arrival, enabling them to make an informed business decision.
The Elite Support initiative is designed to maximise vehicle uptime with rapid diagnosis, quality work, consistent communication and optimised parts availability, as well as a premium in-dealership experience.
In order to achieve Elite Support certification, Daimler Trucks dealerships must satisfy more than 120 criteria, covering everything from the ability to carry out Express Assessments to a high standard of workshop elements and the provision of customer amenities such as free Wi-Fi and a comfortable waiting area.
Daimler Trucks Somerton Dealer Principal, Kirstin Hoskin says the team at the dealership, which is located in a northern suburb of Melbourne, is excited to be able to introduce Elite Support.
“Daimler Trucks Somerton is always looking for ways to improve the experience of our customers, so when we saw the Elite Support program, we knew we had to be involved,” Ms Hoskin said.
“We expect our Mercedes-Benz, Fuso and Freightliner customers will all appreciate the improvements that come with the Elite Support initiative.”
Daimler Truck and Bus Australia/Pacific President and CEO, Daniel Whitehead, was pleased to see another Elite Support dealership certification.
“It is great to see more Daimler truck customers have access to the range of benefits that Elite Support brings,” he said.
Several more Daimler Truck dealerships will introduce the Elite Support initiative across Australia next year, further improving the Daimler Truck offering.
“Daimler Trucks is the only manufacturer that can offer our customers a one-dealer solution that delivers the best trucks from Europe, Japan and North America to ensure our customers get the trucks they need for every application. Elite Support further improves their experience,” Mr Whitehead says.
