Nominations are now open for the 2014 ATANSW industry awards, which honour the commitment and achievements of the best people and organisations in the NSW trucking industry.
The Manager of ATANSW, Jodie Broadbent, said anyone involved in the NSW trucking industry could nominate a person or organisation for an award, provided they met the award criteria.
“We are offering three awards in 2014: Outstanding Contribution to the NSW Trucking Industry, the NSW Professional Driver of the Year Award, and the NSW Transport Woman of the Year Award,” Mrs Broadbent said.
“The winners will receive the respect of their peers, trophies, and, for the Woman of the Year, a black opal pendant from Lightning Ridge.
“In addition, ATANSW will nominate the winners for the relevant category of the National Trucking Industry Awards.”
The previous winners of the ATANSW awards include Tony McGrath, the founder of McGrath Newcastle, and Mike Moylan, the General Manager – Operations at Johnstons Transport.
