New CEO for Linfox Logistics ANZ
Annette Carey has been formally appointed to the role of CEO of Linfox Logistics Australia and New ZealandSome 12 months after the announcement of the impending departure of then CEO Michael Byrne, Linfox has appointed Annette Carey to the role of CEO of Linfox Logistics Australia and New Zealand.
A 14-year veteran of the Linfox group, Ms Carey – who has been Acting CEO since September 2014 –is moving up to the role from her previous position as Linfox General Counsel and Company Secretary.
Peter Fox, Chairman of Fox Group Holdings, said Ms Carey was eminently qualified to assume the role.
"Annette has played a significant role in the business, guiding our growth and future positioning, and has overwhelmingly demonstrated sound judgement, clear business leadership and sound commercial acumen," he said.
"Along with our CEO Asia, Gabrielle Costigan, we continue to strengthen Linfox's position as a supply chain leader across the Asia Pacific.
"The pace of change and the opportunities for our business are surging ahead. We're confident that as a privately owned company our strong footprint across the Asia Pacific and depth of supply chain experience is difficult to match."
