
The changes to the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC) executive team announced at the end of 2014 are now in effect, with Dr Albert Kirchmann (pictured, with glasses) now filling the roles of MFTBC Chairman of the Board and Chairman of Daimler Trucks Asia, and Marc Llistosella (also pictured) signing on as MFTBC President & CEO and Head of Daimler Trucks Asia.
The changes became effective from April 1, 2015.
Fifty-eight-year-old Dr Kirchmann was previously MFTBC President & CEO and Head of Daimler Trucks Asia, while Mr Llistosella, 48, was MFTBC Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Customer Services Trucks Asia & Daimler India Commercial Vehicles.
Michael Kamper, 49, will move up to MFTBC Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales & Customer Services, while Noboru Tsuji, 55, Senior Vice President at Mitsubishi Corporation, has become a non-full-time member of the Board of MFTBC.
Speaking at the end of 2014, when the impending reshuffle was first announced, Dr Wolfgang Bernhard, Member of the Daimler Board of Management with responsibility for Daimler Trucks & Buses, thanked Dr Kirchmann for his contributions and highlighted Mr Llistosella's impressive credentials.
"Within a very short time, Marc Llistosella has firmly established the BharatBenz brand in the Indian commercial vehicle industry," he said.
"Developing a tailored product portfolio, he proved that he is meeting customer demands with the right vehicles in the market. Along with Albert Kirchmann, he is one of the architects of Daimler Trucks Asia."
