
The organiser of the Altona Truck & Trade Show has announced that the timing of this year's event will be brought forward, with the event now opening at 12:00pm on Friday, March 1, and concluding on the evening of Saturday, March 2.

Last year's inaugural show saw 6500 visitor attend and nearly $20,000 raised for local sporting groups. In addition to the many trucks over 40 stalls were on hand, with representation from Scania, Kenworth DAF Laverton, Truckers Toy Store, Southern Cross Trailers and Equipment Group, Samios Tyres, ANDA Trailers, Rolling Bearings West and many more.
The event also attracted government departments such as VicRoads, the Metropolitan Fire Department and the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR). Industry associations including the Australian Trucking Association and NatRoad were also on hand to support this whole-of-industry trucking event.
Entry to the 2019 Altona Truck & Trade Show is $10 for adults; admission is free for kids under 16.
