Isuzu Australia’s Managing Director and CEO, Ms Hiroko Yaguchi, recently joined Director, Phil Taylor, other IAL staff plus customers and guests to celebrate the unveiling of Gold Coast Isuzu’s new cutting-edge facility.
After deciding to embark upon an expansion of its facilities, Gold Coast Isuzu unveiled an impressive purpose-built, state of the art, 6000-square-metre truck centre on a 4.4-hectare site.
Gold Coast Isuzu is part of the Frizelle Automotive Group, which recently joined forces with the Sydney-based Warren Group, pulling together two of the largest and most trusted family-owned automotive retailers in Australia
The new facility features a large showroom, 18 service bays, full service pit, wheel alignment, wash bays, driver rest areas and a large retail parts facility and warehouse, the new premises is geared toward a first-rate customer experience.
The opening of the new dealership – one of the largest commercial vehicle centres on the Gold Coast – was attended by a host of familiar faces from Queensland’s local transport industry.
The model dealership has been an example of how to build a successful operation on the back of outstanding service and relationship building, as Phil Taylor attested to at the opening of the new facility: “Using Isuzu’s Dealer Excellence Recognition Program as a barometer, I can confirm that Gold Coast Isuzu has been a perennial achiever, qualifying no less than 15 times in the last 18 years.
“Such a long and consistent stint of success is built upon deeper customer relationships. This ‘people-focussed’ approach extends to the dealership’s workforce as well,” Mr Taylor said.
“With infrastructure investment on the Gold Coast up, the city is growing rapidly, and we fully expect Gold Coast Isuzu to take advantage of that situation by continuing with their outstanding customer care in this brilliant new facility,” Phil concluded.
Gold Coast Isuzu is located just off Exit 66 of the M1 at Arundel.
