New Iveco Daily looming

Iveco says its new 2015 range of Daily LCVs is drawing near, with the new model expected to arrive here within the first quarter

Iveco says its new Daily range will arrive within the first quarter of 2015, with the 4x2 van and cab/chassis variants bristling with updates and refinements.

Launched in Europe in June, the Daily was awarded the title of 'International Van of the Year 2015' at the IAA commercial vehicles expo in Germany last September.

Iveco claims around 80 per cent of the next-gen Daily's components are new, its engineers placing a particular focus on load space, driver comfort and fuel efficiency.

The Daily platform, which spans van, cab/chassis and dual-cab/chassis variants, has GVMs spanning 3.8 to 7.0 tonnes. Three four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine options are available from 94kW to 153kW, mated to either a six-speed manual or a new 'Hi-Matic' ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.

Iveco Australia's Product Manager, Christian Andel, said the company was confident the new Daily will strike a chord with the Australian market.

"The Daily range received a resounding 'thumbs-up' in Europe by winning Van of the Year, and Iveco is confident the new models will be very well received by customers in Australia," he said.

To help clear remaining stock of the older Daily, for a limited time Iveco Australia is offering a $3000 Visa gift card with any new van purchase. For more information see your nearest Iveco dealer.
