New MD for ZF

A new Managing Director has signed on at the local branch of transmission giant, ZF

ZF Services Australia has a new Managing Director, with Mark Sookias taking on the role on Monday, July 4.

Mr Sookias is an experienced business leader with over 17 years in senior management positions at multinational organisations across a variety of industries.

His most recent role was Executive General Manager at automotive parts distributor, Motospecs, a division of Genuine Parts Company Asia Pacific, which he held for over eight years.

ZF Services Australia says Mr Sookias brings a wealth of knowledge and industry experience to the role, and now aims to take the business to the next level.

"I have always been impressed by the quality offering ZF has made available in the marketplace in Australia and New Zealand,” Mr Sookias said.

"ZF Services has a unique position in the Australian market, with its high quality range of products and services for the OEM and aftermarket that penetrates multiple market segments across various industry sectors.

"I am looking forward to working with the team to deliver our strategic goals and take ZF Services forward in Australia, New Zealand and Oceania."

Mr Sookias replaces Mr Christopher Adcock, who has relocated to the United Kingdom to take up the role of Managing Director, ZF Services UK Ltd.
