New product: Narva LED Beacons

Lighting expert Narva has unveiled a new range of Eurotech 12/24V dual-voltage LED beacons

Australian lighting specialist Narva recently added a new range of Eurotech LED beacons to its extensive range of automotive products.

Designed specifically for the commercial and construction industries, Narva says these 12/24V dual-voltage LED beacons are available in two sizes and are more compact than many alternative products.

The beacons can both flash and rotate and they come with a choice of six adjustable flash patterns.

Importantly for the road transport industry, the lights comply with heavy vehicle regulation 2013, number 77, so they're fully legal for on-road use.

The beacons are available in both low-profile (#85254A) and standard (#85260A) heights and both are available with a flange base that can allow the alternative and synchronised operation of up to four strobe units.

Two further mounting configuration are available for the low-profile beacon: a magnetic base (#85258A) with 12/24V cigarette-style plug and a flexible pipe mounting base (#85256A).

The beacons store the last flash pattern used so there is no need to cycle through the available options every time you turn the unit off and on again.

Narva says the beacons offer "outstanding shock and vibration resistance" and come with reverse-polarity protection, fully sealed (IP65) solid-state circuitry and "virtually unbreakable" polycarbonate lenses.

Narva's Eurotech LED beacons are priced from $187 (including GST) and are available nationally from leading automotive lighting suppliers.
