New product: steel bull-bar for Ford PX Ranger

Ford Australia has released a new heavy-duty steel bull-bar for its PX Ranger that preserves the vehicle's five-star ANCAP rating
Owners of Ford’s PX Ranger ute can now toughen up their workhorse with a genuine factory-accessory, heavy-duty steel bull-bar.
Made from lightweight steel, the bull-bar complements the alloy bull-bar already available and maintains the model’s five-star ANCAP safety rating.
According to Ford’s Marketing Manager, David Katic, the addition to the Ranger accessory line-up was a direct response to customer demand.
“We designed the heavy-duty bull-bar for the harsh environments experienced in the mining industry but some of our more adventurous private customers put their Rangers through worse every weekend,” he said.
“This is a serious accessory for the serious Ranger customer; we’d received many customer inquiries for a heavy-duty bull-bar.”
The bull-bar comes in a grey powdercoat finish and can accept Ford’s accessory auxiliary lamps and two antenna brackets.
If fitted prior to delivery, the bull-bar is covered by Ford’s three-year/100,000km new car warranty.
The steel bull-bar has a recommended retail price of $2107 – considerably less than Ford’s $3300 alloy bull-bar – and it’s compatible with all PX Ranger models.
