Truck bullbar specialist King Bars has just expanded its line-up with a new range of bullbars for Volvo FH and FM trucks.
Dubbed the 'Series 4' line, the new additions come in three designs: Pacific Metro in both two- and four-post formats, and the four-post Pacific Road Train.
King Bars says the bullbars offer the perfect blend of strength and style – it says they're arguably the strongest and best-looking Volvo bullbars on the market.
According to Craig Macpherson, King Bars Sales Manager, the Volvo bullbars look as good as they perform.
"One thing that we take into account when designing a new product is that it not only needs to be practical but it must also suit the aesthetics of the truck, as most vehicle owners are proud of the image that they portray to the public and their clients," he says.
"The combination of our steel backing channel, six contact points with the truck, heavy wall posts and 4-inch pipes makes for what we consider to be the strongest Volvo bullbar available in today's market."
The Pacific Metro bullbars come standard with 4-inch posts, 4-inch pipes top and bottom, front underrun protection system (FUPS) compatible certificate and plate, and ADR-approved LED indicators. The tow box is rated to 90 tonnes and comes with a removable 36mm tow pin, while there are six points of contact with the chassis rails and 'VOLVO' is engraved in the step area.
Optional 140t, 200t and 240t tow boxes are available for heavy haulage applications.
The Pacific Road Train bullbar comes standard with the same features as the Pacific Metro designs, but with four hinge points and a 140t tow box as standard. Once again, heavier tow boxes are available, as are 'ROAD TRAIN' and 'OVERSIZE' signs.
