Yale says its latest forklift is packed with features to please both the operator and the warehouse manager alike

Yale's new FB15-35RZ Series electric counterbalanced forklift boasts numerous features designed to enhance efficiency and ease of use, the firm says.

A cornering speed control system known as Curve Assist provides a stable driving environment and enhances operator confidence in fast-paced work environments, says Yale, while the steering always returns to the ideal position for forward driving after a turn.

A regenerative braking system helps the forklift achieve an operating life of up to 8.5 hours in standard mode and 9.5 hours in economy mode, while the mast design allows a generous clearance between the hoist chains for greater visibility.

The battery box drops quickly and easily to give ready access to the unit's motors and controllers, while a wide range of comfort features make life easy for the operator.

These include a driver's compartment with easy ingress and egress, an interactive dash display, and an interlock system that shuts the unit down if the seatbelt is undone or the operator leaves the seat.

The new Yale FB Series electric forklift range comprises seven models, with capacities ranging from 1500kg to 3500kg and with a variety of lift heights and fork spreads. There are also three wheelbase options and a range of turning radiuses.

A number of factory options are available for the forklift to better tailor the unit to specific applications.
