New products: Triton accessories

Ironman 4x4 has unveiled a range of accessories to suit Mitsubishi's next-generation Triton ute

Four-wheel drive accessories specialist Ironman 4x4 has just released a new range of items to suit Mitsubishi's new Triton utility.

The range includes front and rear bars and airbag-compatible side steps and rails.

The company says its bullbar is a complete bumper replacement that required no cutting to fit. Ironman 4x4 says the bullbar sits as high as possible for maximum clearance, and incorporates high-lift jack points, spotlight mounts, a UHF aerial tab and a winch cradle.

"It's a unique design," says Ironman's 4x4 Product Director, Adam Craze.

"The bar follows all the new lines on the Triton, with even the uprights following the grill."

The rear bars, meanwhile, comply with the model's maximum towing capacity, and the steel side steps and side steps and rails are said to improve side protection and accessibility without encroaching upon the Triton's airbag compatibility.

Pricing for the Mitsubishi Triton accessories range is as follows:

Commercial Bar, $1125
Commercial Deluxe Bar, $1295
Protector Bar, $1485
Airbag Compatible Side Steps, $595
Airbag Compatible Side Steps and Rails, $693
Rear Bar, $1175
