RAM has announced the pricing for its latest special edition, the RAM Redback 2500 which is being launched with a special bonus of no on road costs on top of its recommended retail price of $149,500 thanks to Ramfest which has taken the sting of on road costs out of the entire RAM range between now and the end of the year.
The RAM Redback 2500 is instantly recognisable thanks the new black PowerWagon grille which replaces the traditional RAM ‘cross-hair’ chrome grille with the RAM badge at its centre. And to ensure there’s no mistaking the new limited edition from the rear, for the first time in Australia, the bold RAM name is also spread across the width of the tailgate along with unique RAM Redback badging.
The RAM Redback 2500 also features massive red tow hooks at the front colour coded in bright red, like the fangs of the spider after which it is named, as well as bonnet and side decals, black side steps, 20-inch black alloy rims, off-road tyres and black wheel arch extensions. The Redback 2500 is available in Flame Red or Brilliant Black.
Powered by a 6.7-litre Cummins turbo-diesel engine producing 276kW and a hefty 1084Nm of torque, the RAM Truck can carry or tow an astounding amount. Depending on the type of towing arrangement used, RAM Trucks feature an enormous maximum towing capacity of up to 6942kg for the RAM 2500.
