After extensive development and testing, Narva has released its new Model 49 rear combination light. The new tail light fits the same footprint as its predecessor, the Model 48, commonly referred to as the ‘jumbo’, a light that has proved very popular in the transport industry in Australasia.
Available in various functions and colours, the Model 49 features a continuous neon-like LED light-pipe that frames the light’s borders, meeting the ADR performance regulation for tail llights. Like many cars, this creates a modern, signature appearance for the truck or trailer as the LED light pipe stays illuminated when the other functions are off.
Narva says that due to the slimline design (46mm deep), there are no visible screws or mounting holes. Snap-in reflectors cover these components for a flush appearance, while the lamp inserts themselves are replaceable with the reflectors removed. Although, replacement is unlikely as the lamps are made with virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lenses and come backed by Narva’s five-year LED warranty.
All lamps suit 9-33V and come prewired with 0.5m of cable for ease of installation. The new Model 49 lights are available in several specifications with coloured or clear lenses, including: triple-tail, stop and rear direction; triple-tail, stop, reverse and rear direction; and twin-tail, stop and rear direction.
Narva Model 49 rear combination trailer lights are now available from leading automotive and transport outlets.
