New site for Penske Power Systems Cairns

New, larger facility to open in Portsmith from Monday, April 15

Penske has announced that Penske Power Systems Cairns is moving to a new facility, with the site at 60 Buchan Street, Portsmith, operational from Monday, April 15.

The new address will give the outlet a larger base from which it can distribute products from MTU, Detroit, and Allison Transmission, and serve the northern Queensland region as an authorised parts and service outlet for Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck & Bus, and Dennis Eagle.

The site also boasts eight truck bays, two engine rebuild bays, a drive-through wash bay, two gantry cranes, and a paint booth.

"The new site is larger than our previous site, giving staff improved facilities in which to operate," said Will Finney, branch manager, Penske Power Systems Cairns.

"The prime, corner block location has a larger yard and complete access for customers, allowing them to easily navigate the facility.

"Our customers will also reap the benefits of a new retail showroom and a customer lounge in which they can relax and enjoy a coffee."
