Owner/drivers and fleet operators interested in gaining Advanced Fatigue Management accreditation may be interested to hear that the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator will soon be hosting a series of forums on the subject.
The NHVR says AFM accreditation can deliver a range of positives for road transport firms.
"Advanced Fatigue Management (AFM) accreditation can benefit your business by providing flexibility to schedule rosters that suit your operations, more satisfied drivers who are in control of their work/rest hours and greater staff retention overall," states an NHVR press release.
The sessions begin in Victoria on Monday, January 19. The NHVR says bookings are not necessary for the Victorian sessions – to be held in Warrnambool, Melbourne and Traralgon – while dates and locations for other states and territories will be announced shortly.
