The association of Australasian road transport and traffic agencies, Austroads, has appealed to drivers of heavy vehicles and their managers to give their opinion on the state of rural roads in Australia's eastern mainland states.
The body is seeking information on road surfaces, road and lane geometry and the impact of traffic, among others, from drivers and managers in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
The information is being gathered via a survey being carried out by ARRB Group.
Anyone willing to participate can complete the survey online or they can contact Shoukry Marzouk (shoukry.marzouk@arrb.com.au, tel (03) 9881 1556) or Tim Martin (tim.martin@arrb.com.au, tel (03) 9881 1564) directly at ARRB.
Austroads says the survey takes roughly 15 minutes to complete.
