PACCAR announces Dealer Awards
TCTC Kenworth DAF Wodonga Wins Kenworth Dealer Of The Year while Brown and Hurley Yatala takes out the DAF awardOne of Australia’s largest and most successful regional truck dealerships, TCTC Kenworth DAF Wodonga, has been awarded the 2016 Kenworth Dealer of the Year for the sixth time.
PACCAR Australia’s Director Sales and Marketing, Brad May, congratulated the dealership’s co-owners – Dealer Principal, Chris Dziedzic, and Sales Manager, Justin Brooks – at the prestigious PACCAR Dealer Awards dinner last weekend at Sanctuary Cove and commended them for their outstanding Kenworth sales, service and support.
“TCTC Kenworth DAF Wodonga has been named Kenworth Dealer of the Year six times now, which is a remarkable achievement and says a lot about the dealership, its staff and their ongoing commitment,” Brad said.
“The Kenworth Dealer of the Year award is not about who sells the most trucks, but which dealer provides the best overall performance for the customer. TCTC Kenworth DAF Wodonga is most deserving of this award and is an excellent example of a Kenworth dealer,” he added.
Located over the Hume Freeway near the border of Wodonga and Albury, the dealership services the northern Victorian and southern Riverina districts. Its modern, custom-built sales, service and parts complex features an expansive showroom as well as a yard stocked with a full range of Kenworths and DAFs.
TCTC Kenworth DAF Wodonga’s workshop comprises 24 drive-through service bays, including two pits that can manage 26-metre B-Doubles. It also boasts the latest state-of-the-art, diagnostic systems and specialised equipment to service the full range of Kenworth and DAF trucks. In addition, the dealership provides a 24/7 on-site breakdown and emergency parts service, covering the entire region.
Meanwhile, for the second year running and fourth time overall, Brown and Hurley Kenworth DAF Yatala (Queensland) has been named the 2016 DAF Dealer of the Year.
Awarded for outstanding market share performance, technical service and customer support, the award was accepted on behalf of the dealership by Paul Hurley, Dealer Principal.
Congratulating the dealership for its performance, Brad May said Brown and Hurley Yatala was again very deserving of the accolade and praised the dealership for its ongoing success with the DAF brand and its high standard of customer service.
“Brown and Hurley Kenworth DAF Yatala has made a significant impact on the industry and winning the DAF Dealer of the Year award again for 2016 is a great reflection of their significant market share, technical service and knowledge as well as continued excellent customer support. The dealership continues to achieve sales quotas and high sales turnover for new and old customers. They exceed expectations from the customers and PACCAR Australia” said Brad.
“The branch’s facilities are among the best in the country, and they’re complemented by a team of sales, service and support professionals, also it’s important to note that their continued success due to their commitment and dedication to customers,” Brad continued.
Paul Hurley said the award recognised the combined effort of all at the dealership. Mr Hurley said the dealership’s success came from a combination of highly-trained and experienced staff, a strong customer focus and quality PACCAR products.
“The DAF Dealer of the Year award belongs to everyone who works in our dealership – especially our DAF salesman, Service Manager and Parts Manager and their respective teams, who are all genuinely passionate about this premium brand,” he said.
