PACCAR Australia will lift the covers off several new DAF models at the upcoming Brisbane Truck Show, where it will also showcase its Kenworth T4 series trucks (pictured) with MX-13 engines and optimised automated manual transmission.
A total of 12 trucks will be on hand across the 'PACCAR World' display – seven Kenworths and five DAFs – along with three cut-cabs and a wealth of information on PACCAR's finance, parts and merchandise divisions.
DAF fans are in for a treat with the release of several new models, with the DAF XF105 FAD 8x4 joining new offerings in LF range.
"The XF105 FAD 8x4 takes all the benefits of the XF105 to the vocational sector," says PACCAR Australia Marketing Manager, Neil Willox.
"The new LF series sees a Euro 6 cab placed on a Euro 5 chassis, with the range available in 12-tonne, 16-tonne and 18-tonne models and various horsepower outputs. It's a great new cab and a great new look."
The T409 and T409 SAR with PACCAR MX-13 engine were officially released in April 2014, but will be shown in Brisbane with the new optimised automated manual transmission.
"The AMT has been available in small supply over the last little while but it's now fully available as part of an optimised MX-13 engine/transmission combination," says Willox.
The PACCAR World stand will also feature an MX-13 engine display and three cut-cabs: one for a Kenworth K200 cab-over, one for a Kenworth conventional and one for a DAF XF105. It will be the first time the Kenworth conventional cut-cab has been shown in Brisbane.
The full spectrum of related PACCAR support will also be represented, with specialists from PACCAR Financial and PACCAR Parts on hand, along with a range of PACCAR engineering, management and dealer staff to help answer any visitor queries.
You'll find PACCAR World at stand 77 at this year's Brisbane Truck Show, which will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre over May 14 to 17.
