Penske re-signs with Shell V-Power Racing

Trucking heavyweight renews sponsorship for another year in Repco Supercars Championship

Penske Australia & New Zealand has announced it has renewed its sponsorship deal with Shell V-Power Racing Team (Dick Johnson Racing) for the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship.

The trucking business, which is the distributor of MAN, Western Star and Dennis Eagle trucks in Australia and New Zealand, began the partnership in 2014, and in the years since the DJR outfit has gone on to clinch multiple driver and team championships.

“We’re not just chasing victories; we’re racing towards legends,” says David Noble, CEO of the Shell V-Power Racing Team.

“Together with Penske Australia & New Zealand, we’ve forged a bond that transcends the finish line. Get ready for a season like no other.”

According to Kimberley Ruddock, General Manager of Marketing at Penske Australia & New Zealand, both the team and Penske are focused on one goal. “We’re not here to participate; we’re here to dominate,” she says.

“As the engines roar and the crowd cheers, know that the spirit of Penske runs deep within every turn. Victory is our destination, and we’re determined to claim it once again.”

The 2024 Repco Supercars Championship kicks off with the Bathurst SuperFest, to be held over February 16 to 25. The 2024 championship will be contested over 12 rounds, with one being held in Taupo, New Zealand.
