Penske Truck Rental opens in SA

More options in Adelaide for rental and lease of larger trucks
To meet the growing demand for its rental and leasing services, Penske Truck Rental says it has opened its fourth Australian location in Adelaide.
The new rental and leasing facility will be co-located at Penske Power Systems at 103-107 West Avenue, within Edinburgh’s industrial hub, and will join existing outlets in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
The Penske rental fleet offers Western Star, MAN, and Freightliner prime movers with day cab and sleeper models covering single trailer, B-double, and road train applications.
Penske Truck Rental, in partnership with Penske Commercial Vehicles, will also be the first to offer the Western Star 2800SS rigid body truck, to better serve the 15 to 22.5 tonne market.
“The 2800SS rigid truck features one of Australia’s cleanest diesel engines. It also meets current and future emission standards, has segment-best entry and egress, cabin space, and turning circle,” Penske Truck Rental General Manager Adrian Beach said.
“The bonneted truck option will definitely give us a point of difference and something that few truck rental brands can offer,” Mr Beach said.
“Our brand ethos is to offer a full line of tailored rental and leasing solutions to our customers, no matter where they are located across Australia.”
