Penske Truck Rental to expand

New Adelaide outlet to complement Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane branches from Q2, 2016

Penske Truck Rental has announced it will open a fourth outlet in the second quarter of 2016, with an Adelaide branch set to join existing facilities in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The business has grown steadily since it entered the market in August 2014, and says it's supported over 200 transport companies from its east coast outlets in the time since. Penske Truck Rental offers Western Star, MAN and Freightliner trucks in a variety of formats from day cabs up to road-train-rated models.

All rental trucks are fitted with on-board telematics, giving operators the chance to monitor the truck closely during the rental period.

"We're excited to take the Penske Truck Rental brand to Adelaide in 2016 and co-locate with Penske Power Systems," said Adrian Beach, General Manager – Penske Truck Rental.

"It's part of our commitment to grow our business footprint through key locations in Australia while also helping our customers to build their businesses as well."

Penske Truck Rental in Adelaide will be located at 103-107 West Avenue in Edinburgh, in the city's outer northern suburbs.
