Penske, local distributor for Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck & Bus, Dennis Eagle, MTU and Detroit, is set to expand its presence in New Zealand with the opening of a state-of-the-art new purpose-built facility in Christchurch, on New Zealand's South Island.
Penske New Zealand will officially open the new site February 4, with local commercial vehicle dealer Heavy Trucks joining the Penske family and relocating to the new site on the same day.
The new Penske Christchurch facility will provide full retail sales, parts, and service support for the Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck & Bus, Dennis Eagle, MTU, and Detroit brands.
Customers will continue to receive the great experience to which they were accustomed with Heavy Trucks, while also benefiting from the broader Penske New Zealand network including the Auckland and Tauranga locations on the North Island.
"We are very excited to open the doors to our brand new facility and to welcome the Heavy Trucks employees to the Penske New Zealand family," said Jim Livermore, director of Penske New Zealand.
"With our new Christchurch facility, we will be able to build on the great reputation that Heavy Trucks has earned on the South Island for exceptional customer service."
