
The 2015 Perth Truck & Trailer Show will be held next month, with the biggest truck industry expo in the west showcasing the latest hardware and services at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre over July 24 to 26.
Held every two years, the show will give visitors a rare chance for a 'hands-on' look at a diverse smorgasbord of the latest truck and trailer models, as well as a wide range of truck-related accessories and services.
Among the glittering array of new trucks will be Volvo's new FM with I-Shift transmission, Iveco's Powerstar 7800 (pictured), the recently unveiled Cat CT630HD, Kenworth's T409, Western Star's 4800FS, Scania's V8-engined R 730, MAN's new D38-engined TGX, DAF's new LF series, Mack's Granite, Super-Liner and Titan models, and UD's new PK Condor and MK Tipper.
A variety of new trailers will also be on show, from brands such as Kreuger, Bailey's Body Builders, Graham Lusty Trailers, Southern Cross, Palfinger, Ferrari Cranes and Hyva, among others.
Visitors can attend any of a range of industry seminars to be held over the three days, with topics ranging from dangerous goods documentation and placarding to tyres, Chain of Responsibility legislation and the latest trailer brake requirements ushered in under ADR 38/04.
Rodney Johnson from the reality TV series World's Toughest Truckers will be on hand to chat about his experiences on the road, while the Kids' Fun Zone will offer a bouncy castle, colouring in, and a variety of trucks and diggers to play on. Kids under 16 are in for free too, making the event a great day out for the entire family.
The show will be open on the Friday from 10am to 6pm, on the Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and on the Sunday from 10am to 4pm, with adults in for $15 and concessions in for $12.
