Prestige edge for Melbourne IVECO dealer
Victorian IVECO dealership, Melbourne Truck Centre, has recently rebranded as Prestige IVECOMelbourne-based IVECO dealership, Melbourne Truck Centre, now has a new name and a new location. The outlet now goes by the name of Prestige IVECO, and it shares its first-class facilities with long-established dealership, Prestige Hino.
Located at 43 to 63 Prices Highway, Dandenong South – just a stone’s throw from IVECO’s Australian headquarters – the facility is a part of the Eagers Automotive network of dealerships. IVECO says the move will give IVECO customers access to a high-end site with superior sales and parts services, along with a broader array of support.

The full complement of staff from Melbourne Truck Centre have transferred to Prestige IVECO, says IVECO, while the dealership is managed by Dealer Principal, Kevin Purcell.
“The new dealership footprint is significantly larger than the previous location, which will allow us to better cater to the needs of IVECO owners in many ways,” said Mr Purcell.
“Our on-site parts warehouse has been optimised, allowing us to hold approximately $1.3 million of IVECO parts in stock, meaning there’s greater convenience and reduced downtime for owners.
“Additionally, the dealership’s workshop facilities have been expanded with the recent repurposing and fit-out of an additional building on the site.”
Other benefits include a larger showroom, a modern customer lounge, and a yard that is four times larger than the previous MTC location, allowing the dealership to display a greater range of IVECO trucks and vans.
“Prestige IVECO will continue to provide customers with access to a team of OEM-trained service technicians and parts interpreters, as well as a knowledgeable sales staff with a passion for specifying the right vehicle for the application,” Mr Purcell said.
“The dealership’s prominent and easy-to-access positioning along the Southeast transport corridor, also provides customers with added convenience – the overall customer experience at Prestige IVECO will be extremely high.”
IVECO Head of Network Development, Ella Letiagina, said she was thrilled to see the investment in operations at Prestige IVECO.
“It’s always pleasing to see dealerships investing in the IVECO brand, and Prestige IVECO has certainly raised the standard, operating from this new premises,” Ms Letiagina said.
