Punters vote on top Isuzu truck

From go-anywhere field service units to waste solution providers, Isuzu’s Truck of the Year competition continues to shine a light on some of the country’s most-loved Isuzu models.

Every year the nation’s top truck brand puts the call out to its customers and dealers, seeking entries into a competition that rewards the most innovative and well-presented Isuzu units on the roads.

With Isuzu Australia’s panel of expert judges analysing entries across the breadth of the product line-up (N Series, F Series and FX/FY Series), winners of the 2021 competition were announced just recently.

A recent and well-received addition to the competition has been a ‘People’s Choice Award’ taking the form of a public vote on Isuzu Australia's Facebook page and allowing truck lovers to vote for their favourite entry.

Isuzu says its Truck of the Year competition is the longest-running contest of its kind in Australia. With some of the highest levels of engagement in 2021, the results show that not only are people rightly proud of their Isuzu trucks, but they’re also willing to back them in the competition format.

Grand Prize Winner

Congratulations go to the ultimate Grand Prize Winner for 2021, Adelaide Liquid Waste Solutions who came in swinging with an impeccable FXY 240-350.

Proud fleet and business owners Ben Harris and Suzanne Magro take home a $6000 Visa cash card to spice things up for the new year, and also receive a $1000 Visa cash card for being the FX/FY Series winner.

Not to mention an additional Isuzu merchandise pack worth $300 RRP as the monthly winner for June 2021. The ALWS team certainly prove there is more than one way to win big in Truck of the Year.

People’s Choice Winner

At the end of the competition, Isuzu Trucks announced that JME Excavations with their truck ‘Clancy’ is the 2021 Isuzu Truck of the Year People’s Choice award winner.

Congratulations go to owner, Jamie Reardon, and the JME team, who take away a $1000 Visa cash card.

“Regardless of size or stature, this is our customers’ chance to put their truck up in lights and walk away with $300 worth of Isuzu Trucks merchandise as a monthly winner, and be in the running too for our generous $1000 Series Prizes and the Grand Prize, a $6000 Visa cash card.

“It's a fun and wholesome way to give back to our customers, and who doesn’t like a bit of friendly rivalry?” Mr Gangemi commented.

“The competition has kicked off again for the New Year, and if the response from last year is any indication, we can look forward to seeing some fantastic trucks come through.”
