Queensland company Ready Towing recently took delivery of a Hino 500 Series model, bringing the number of Hino trucks in its fleet to 83.
The latest in Brisbane-based Ready Towing's fleet of over 200 specialised tow vehicles is a Hino 500 Series FD 1124 with six-speed manual transmission, fitted with an Australian-built ATB Engineering low-loader tilt-slide tray.
Ready Towing was the first Australian company to adopt these specialised trays in 2010, which enable the trucks to transport modern low-road-clearance vehicles.
More than 90 per cent of the low-loader trays used by Ready Towing are fitted to a Hino 500 Series chassis.
Sci-Fleet Hino, one of Australia's largest Hino dealerships, has supplied and serviced Ready Towing's Hino fleet for over 25 years.
Fleet manager and third-generation member of the Ready Towing family Jack Ready said the service team at Sci-Fleet Hino is the key ingredient in ensuring its business success.
"We pride ourselves on being reliable when assisting others," Mr Ready said.
"We can't afford to have any downtime and that's why we rely on Hino for our servicing.
"We have the peace of mind of knowing that our trucks are serviced with genuine parts and fluids. I'm a great believer that using 'no name' parts equals no guarantee of performance.
"The confidence we have in the reliability Hino offers is what keeps us coming back for more."
Ready Towing's fleet of Hino trucks are also fitted with numerous genuine accessories, including bull bars, wheel covers, canvas seat covers and rubber floor mats.
Ready Towing operates as an RACQ contractor with 20 Hino trucks dedicated to breakdown towing service.
The company began in 1961 and has grown into one of Queensland's largest towing companies.
