Registrations open for TMC2017

The ATA has announced that you can now book in for the Technical and Maintenance Conference in Melbourne
Registrations are now open for TMC2017, the trucking industry’s premier technical and maintenance event.
TMC2017 will take place from Monday October 16 to Wednesday October 18 October at the Automotive Centre of Excellence (Kangan Institute - Docklands).
The event is your chance to stay up to date, avoid breakdowns, and potentially save thousands of dollars through better maintenance and purchasing.
With a comprehensive new program, there is something for everyone at TMC2017, including:
>> The new Chain of responsibility laws and how codes will assist in improving safety and compliance
>> National Heavy Vehicle Inspection Manual updates and roadworthiness/maintenance from rigids to road trains
>> Load restraint
>> New VSB6 Modifications code
>> PBS advance sessions

The program will cover a range of technical topics, including engines, brakes, and tyres. In addition, there will be hands-on demonstrations of world class technology.
TMC2017 kicks off with an opening lunch sponsored by Cummins where the 2016 Craig Roseneder award winner, Cade Robinson will share his TMC experience over the last year and his trip to the US TMC.
The PACCAR Parts Fun Night will allow people to network in a casual environment while the Castrol Vecton Awards dinner will celebrate industry successes with the Craig Roseneder Award for Technical and Maintenance Excellence in the Workshop and the Castrol Vecton Industry Achievement Award.
The Cummins Scholarship Program will also offer three scholarships to TMC2017 for qualifying applicants (see below).
