Registrations open for Western Star Show n Shine

Get in early to register your truck for the November 17 event at Toowoomba Showgrounds

Western Star enthusiasts can now register their trucks for the event, which will be held at the Toowoomba Showgrounds on November 17. Simply click here and you’ll go straight to the registration page.

Commencing in the afternoon, the Show n Shine will run into the evening with fun events for the whole family including a live band, food and beverage vendors, entertainment for the kids, and a meet and greet with DJR Team Penske drivers Fabian Coulthard and Scott McLaughlin.

As with last year’s event, the 2018 Show n Shine will again feature a host of prizes across several categories including:

- Best Western Star under 5 years
- Best Western Star under 10 years (5-10 years)
- Best Western Star over 10 years
- Best Western Star fleet
- Best Western Star – rigid
- Best White truck (heritage)

“The Show n Shine allows us to give back to loyal Western Star customers and reaffirm Penske’s commitment to connecting with them directly,” said Kevin Dennis, managing director of Penske Commercial Vehicles.

“Last year’s inaugural Show n Shine was very well received by the Western Star faithful with a hugely positive response, and we are building on that to make this year’s event bigger and better.

“We are also consciously broadening the event to attract the larger Toowoomba community and create an engaging twilight atmosphere that everyone can enjoy.

“And I’m sure those trucks with special light arrangements will look spectacular as the sun sets,” Mr Dennis concluded.
