Renault announces Kangoo upgrades for 2020
A refreshed Renault Kangoo range is now on sale in Australian dealerships with more features and sharp pricingEurope’s leading small van has been a favourite with Australian customers since it first arrived in 1997, and Renault says the 2020 version is set to build on that platform with new user-friendly features added across the range.
The MY20 Kangoo range consists of three models – the Compact manual, Compact auto and Maxi auto. The Compact models are powered by an 84kW 1.2-litre petrol engine, while the Maxi comes with an 81kW 1.5-litre diesel unit.
All models now come standard with glazed, 180-degree opening rear barn doors, a rear-view camera, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers and fog lights.
Additional standard features include rear parking sensors, cruise control, hill start assist, bluetooth hands-free connectivity with audio streaming, folding electric side mirrors and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Option packs
Two optional packs are available – Trade and Business. The Trade Pack ($900) includes an anti-slip timber floor, full-height timber side protection paneling and LED ceiling lights. The Business Pack ($1000) comes with 15-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control air-conditioning, extra-tinted barn door glass and a satin chrome two-tone front bumper.
Other options include Renault’s R-Link navigation and audio system with Android Auto and metallic paint.

Colours
The MY20 Kangoo is available with two solid colours (Mineral White and Urban Grey) and seven metallic (Mocha brown, Highland Grey, Oyster Grey, Star Blue, Carmen Red, Jet Black and Poppy Red). Metallic paint adds an extra $660 RRP.
Warranty and Servicing
The Kangoo comes with a three-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty and is included in the Renault capped-price servicing and roadside assistance program. Three years’ capped-price servicing is included with service schedules of 15,000km or annually.
Kangoo customers also receive one year of complimentary 24/7 roadside assistance. This is extended to four years when all services are completed at a Renault dealership.
