Sam Kekovich backs PACCAR Parts

Straight-talking Sam Kekovich assumes the role of angry 'Sam Truckovich' in PACCAR Parts' latest media campaign

Football icon and media personality Sam Kekovich has turned his ire towards anything that stands in the way of truckies doing their job, as he assumes his latest alter ego – Sam Truckovich – in a bid to promote PACCAR Parts.

PACCAR has launched a media campaign to consolidate the rebranding of PACCAR Parts, which recently absorbed its ALLRig brand.

The campaign comprises print and web advertising, radio advertising, a revamped website and the indomitable 'Sam Truckovich' in a YouTube clip.

While most Aussies know Sam Kekovich in an advertising context as the outspoken face of the lamb industry, as Sam Truckovich he's a tough-talkin' fleet owner with a list of demands to improve life for truckies.

We could go on, but we'll let Sam do the talking – check out the clip for yourself below…

PACCAR Parts Sales and Marketing Services Manager, Marian Dekker said the 'PACCAR Parts. Get it Right' campaign speaks directly to owner-drivers, fleet bosses and mechanics.

"We’re emphasising that PACCAR Parts is all about quality, expertise and excellent parts availability," she said.

"Sam Kekovich communicates all of that very strongly – and in a direct and entertaining way."
