Scholarships for women in transport

Applications are now being sought for Transport Women Australia Limited Driving the Difference Scholarship program

Transport Women Australia Limited (TWAL) is now accepting applications for the next round of Driving the Difference scholarships.

Now in its fourth year, the Daimler Truck backed TWAL program will provide opportunities for five women in the transport and logistics industry and those wishing to join.

The scholarships enable the successful applicants to undertake a course that will advance their careers or expand their knowledge to enhance their current position. Alternatively, it could give other women the chance to become part of the transport and logistics industry.

Applications will be accepted until October 31 and recipients will be announced on November 16.

"We are so honoured to be able to join once again with Daimler Truck Bus Australia Pacific to present the Driving the Difference scholarships for another year and enhance participation of women in the transport and logistics industry," said TWAL chair Jacquelene Brotherton.
