Setra offers Executive coach
Business-class coach features individual seating for 20 in luxuryThe first Setra TopClass 500 coaches have been delivered with 1+1 seating for a Swiss transport company.
The new 'Executive Business Class' as the travel concept is known, carries a maximum of just 20 passengers in luxurious individual seats. The seats have a swivelling design, meaning that individual discussion groups can be formed at any time with minimal effort. Every seat comes equipped with stowage compartments, drinks holder, and a work station with a 220 volt power socket.
Bus operator Marti worked together with Setra to develop the 1+1 concept. As managing director Heinrich Marti explains: "Our aim was to offer unrivalled standards of comfort for both companies and private clients with exacting travel requirements."
The premium business-class coach is available as a special shuttle vehicle for parties such as government officials, trade delegations or management of large companies. The staggered arrangement of the swivelling touring seats means that passengers in the Setra S 517 HDH can easily sit together in groups to discuss matters while still en route to conference venues, hotels or airports, or just sit back and relax.
Setra says that the 1+1 concept is bringing the comfort of business-class air travel to the road.
