Sitrak recently held a product launch event at the NSW dealer’s new 4S store in the Sydney suburb of Prestons.
Councilor Dr. Betty Green of Liverpool City Council, former NSW Minister for Sport, Multiculturalism, Seniors and Veterans John Sidoti, and Director of Fortune Group Tommy Jiang all delivered congratulatory speeches.
The event attracted numerous Sitrak customers from the truck, logistics, and construction industries, as well as various partners and representatives of the media.
During the event, Yunshuo Yin discussed Sinotruk's history and the new Sitrak product, stating that Sinotruk was the first heavy truck manufacturer in China, and is known as the ‘cradle of the Chinese heavy-duty truck industry’.
In 2023, Sinotruk sold over 330,000 trucks and exported 130,000 units to overseas markets. The company currently sells its products in over 110 countries and Australia is considered as an emerging market for Sinotruk.
Since entering the Australian market in 2017, Sinotruk, trading as Sitrak in Australia, has delivered more than 1000 heavy trucks and received ADR certification for 12 models.
Sitrak Australia currently has four primary dealers, seven 4S stores, and five spare parts centres. A total of 13 service centres have been contracted, and another 17 service centres are under negotiation.
The new prime mover products have been specifically designed for the Australian market, incorporating world-class suppliers to ensure good fuel economy, an excellent driving experience, and superior safety performance. Sitrak says these products have already gained the trust and admiration of many Australian heavy truck customers.
Arthur Weng, partner at Synray Capital, highlighted the financial aspects of the company saying that Synray Capital is dedicated to providing professional and stable financial services to Sitrak customers, including corporate credit, vehicle loans, and financial leasing. Synray Capital offers comprehensive financial support to dealers and truck buyers with favourable interest rates, fast approval processes, and complete follow-up services.
In the coming weeks, Sitrak is hosting another launch event in Melbourne and we’ll bring you a full report of that as well as a rundown on the trucks that the company has in the pipeline.
