
Fans of all things Western Star and their families will be making a beeline for Toowoomba, Queensland, this Saturday, for the 2018 Western Star Trucks Show n Shine.
Held at the Toowoomba Showgrounds on Saturday, November 17, the event will build on the success of last year's inaugural Show n Shine, and is an opportunity for Western Star enthusiasts to display their machinery while enjoying a fun day out with family and friends.

Commencing at 2:00pm, the event will include a wide array of entertainment. Award-winning country musician, Troy Cassar-Daley, will perform a twilight set with tracks off his recently released album, 'Greatest Hits'.
Fresh back from Nashville, Tennessee, Australian recording artist and founder of Toowoomba's Backroad Bash Music Festival, Mick Lindsay, will also perform.
Earlier in the day, attendees will be able to meet and greet with Shell V-Power Racing Team Supercar drivers Fabian Coulthard and Scott McLaughlin from 3:00pm.
Radio personality 'The Duck' will host a live outdoor broadcast from the Show n Shine with national radio station, Kix Country, relaying the show from 2:00pm to 5:00pm including interviews with the Shell V-Power Racing drivers.

Food and beverage vendors will be also be on site, along with plenty of entertainment for the kids.
Like last year, the 2018 Show n Shine will feature a host of prizes across several categories including: Best Western Star truck under 5 years, Best Western Star truck under 10 years (5-10 years), Best Western Star truck over 10 years, Best Western Star fleet, Best Western Star truck – rigid, and Best White truck (heritage).
Prizes will include flights, accommodation, and passes for two people to a V8 Supercars round, Shell fuel gift cards, truck light bars, truck fridges, merchandise, and more.
Attendees will be asked to make a voluntary donation with proceeds going to Rural Aid, a charity that provides assistance to people impacted by natural disasters.
