IVECO Australia says the looming Brisbane Truck Show will underline its efforts in minimising environmental impact, with a range of Euro 6-rated show vehicles on display including some being shown to the Australian public for the first time.
Spearheading the lineup will be the recently launched and locally made IVECO Stralis X-Way, which will be shown in both prime mover and rigid formats.

As well as benefiting from a broad range of intelligent active and passive safety features, the Stralis X-Way is equipped with fuel-saving measures including 'Ecoroll', 'Ecoswitch' and engine anti-idling, along with IVECO's unique Hi-eSCR emissions system that doesn't require any driver intervention.
Visitors will also get their first look at IVECO's next-gen Euro 6 ACCO vocational truck, which the firm says will offer new levels of comfort and safety. On display in Brisbane will be a 6x4 model with Bucher compactor body and an 8x4 featuring a Hiab hooklift body.
Other IVECO drawcards will include a Eurocargo with INNOV8 attenuator body, a Daily 70C van, a prototype new version of the Daily 4x4, and an International ProStar prime mover.
IVECO Australia Marketing Manager, Darren Swenson, said this year's Brisbane Truck Show stand would underline the IVECO tagline, 'Your Partner for Sustainable Transport'.
"IVECO is very proud to be a global leader in low-emission technologies and at the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show, our low-emission capabilities will be strongly displayed and promoted," he said.
"Increasingly our customers, both in the private and government sectors, are requesting vehicles that meet stringent environmental standards, even before being officially mandated through legislation.
"IVECO is very pleased to be able to provide an extensive Euro 6 product offering across vans, minibuses and its light-, medium- and heavy-duty truck ranges."
IVECO and International can be found at stand 47 in Hall 1 on the foyer level of this year's Brisbane Truck Show, which will take place at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre over May 16 to 19.
