Toll acquires NTS

The Toll Group has announced its conditional acquisition of Port Kembla-based heavy haulage firm, Nationwide Transport Solutions

Transport and logistics giant Toll Group has expanded yet again, recently announcing its conditional acquisition of over-dimensional and heavy haulage specialist, Nationwide Transport Solutions (NTS).

Based in the NSW industry hub of Port Kembla, NTS is said to have annual revenues of $17 million, and focuses on over-dimensional and heavy haulage in the energy, alternative energy, and heavy industrial sectors, along with servicing the transport requirements of major infrastructure projects.

According to Toll’s Contract Logistics Divisional General Manager, Bruce Wilson, the acquisition will further Toll’s reach in some important fields.

“We are excited about this opportunity to build on the expertise we have already developed around the wind energy sector,” he said.

“Along with building on our existing activities, NTS provides us with the opportunity to drive strong growth such as in infrastructure projects.”
